Dominik Mason Q&A:
For Dominik, when did you discover your love of playing hockey and what is your favorite part of the game?
Dominik: I'm a cliché. I learned to skate not long after I learned to walk and have always played hockey. I lived my father's dream, but it wasn't a problem, because it really was my dream too. My favorite part used to be just the power, controlling the puck meant controlling the game. Now I enjoy dropping my gloves and getting rid of some stress. ;)
Master Dominik how do you see your relationship with Oriana, Max and Sloan progressing in the long-term, with all of you men being so dominant?
Dominik: I think our dynamics are perfect for long term. We all want Oriana to be happy. There may be times when Callahan—ah, Sloan, my apologies, Angela—butt heads over Oriana's training, but no relationship is perfect. And Max has a way of forcing the rest of us to work things out. I like to consider myself the level headed one, but Max has proved that when it comes to Oriana, he'll always put her needs first. Which works for us all.
Have you loved hockey all of your life?
Yes. When I was very young, I used to visit my grandfather and he loved hockey. The one way to get his attention was to ask about it. So I asked and asked and got caught up in his love for the game. And that stuck with me even after he passed.
Oh a question for all three guys: Did you ever see yourself sharing a woman with another man for life? Have you had to handle any jealousy issues over who spends what time with Oriana?
Max: With Oriana, it was all up to her. I would have ignored my needs for hers. Seriously. Yeah, it sounds sappy, but you're willing to give up everything for the woman you really love. But since she's happy, hell no. There's no jealousy. I just want details! <g>
Sloan: I never thought I'd be okay with it. Sometimes, I'm not sure I am. But one look at her and…hell, it's worth it. I have my place and I don't plan to give it up ever.
Dominik: As a Dom all I know is making sure a subs needs are met. I know Sloan and Max can give Oriana some of what she needs, but not without me. I have the experience to keep her safe and, more importantly, she's made it clear that she wouldn't be happy without me. What more can a man want?
